A Day in the Life of an HVAC Technician

7:00 AM – Gearing Up for the Day

I arrive at the S & S Mechanical office, grab my toolbox, and check my work orders for the day. My first stop is a residential air conditioning installation in St. George, UT.

9:00 AM – Installing a New AC Unit

After arriving at the customer’s home, I begin the process of removing the old, inefficient unit and preparing the space for the new energy-efficient model. I carefully follow the manufacturer’s instructions and use my expertise to ensure a proper installation.

12:30 PM – Lunch Break

With the installation complete, I take a well-deserved break and grab a quick lunch. While eating, I check my schedule for the afternoon appointments.

1:30 PM – AC Service Call

My next stop is a service call in Cedar City, UT. The homeowner’s air conditioning unit isn’t cooling properly, so I inspect the system, diagnose the issue, and make the necessary repairs to get it running efficiently again.

4:00 PM – HVAC Installation

My final job of the day is a new HVAC system installation in Washington, UT. This is a larger project, so I work closely with my team to ensure everything is installed correctly and up to code.

7:00 PM – Back to the Office

After a long day on the job, I return to the S & S Mechanical office to complete my paperwork and restock my van for tomorrow’s calls. It’s been a busy day, but I take pride in providing top-notch service to our customers throughout St. George, UT, Cedar City, UT, Washington, UT, Santa Clara, UT, and Ivins, UT.
