Rise and Shine: The Early Bird Gets the Concrete
As an employee at Prestige Property Services of WNY, my day starts bright and early. The alarm clock blares at 5:30 AM, and I’m up and at ’em, ready to tackle another day of concrete contracting and landscaping excellence.
6:30 AM: Team Huddle
After a quick breakfast and commute, I arrive at our headquarters. The team gathers for our morning briefing, where we discuss the day’s projects and divide tasks. Today, we’ve got a mix of concrete pouring and landscape design on the agenda.
7:30 AM: On the Road
We load up our trucks with the necessary equipment and materials, then head out to our first job site. The smell of fresh coffee lingers in the cab as we navigate the streets of Western New York.
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Concrete Craftsmanship
Our morning is dedicated to a driveway installation. We:
- Prepare the site by excavating and grading
- Set up forms and reinforcement
- Mix and pour the concrete
- Finish the surface to perfection
12:30 PM: Lunch Break
We take a well-deserved break to refuel and hydrate. It’s a chance to bond with coworkers and share some laughs before the afternoon push.
1:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Landscaping Magic
The afternoon shifts gears as we move to a residential property for a landscaping project. We’re tasked with:
- Installing a retaining wall
- Planting trees and shrubs
- Laying sod for a lush lawn
4:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Wrap-up and Clean-up
As the day winds down, we ensure all tools are accounted for and the job sites are left spotless. It’s all part of the Prestige Property Services commitment to excellence.
5:30 PM: Homeward Bound
